PLACES TO SEE:
Named after Charles II, and nicknamed The
Palmetto State. South Carolina is bordered by North Carolina to the north;
Georgia to the west and to the south; and the Atlantic Ocean to the east.
South Carolina's highest peak is Sassafras Mountain, at 3,560 feet, the 29th highest in the United States. The lowest point is the Atlantic Ocean, at sea level.
NOTE: I HAVE BEEN OVER THE BORDER FROM SAVANNAH, GEORGIA, JUST TO SAY THAT I HAVE BEEN TO SOUTH CAROLINA.
