Santa Fe, New Mexico

Named from the Spanish for the lands north of the Rio Grande, and nicknamed The Land of Enchantment. New Mexico is bordered by Colorado to the north; Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas to the east; Arizona to the west and Mexico to the south. Utah also borders New Mexico by just a tip in the northwestern corner of the state.

New Mexico's highest peak is Wheeler Peak at 13,161 feet, the 8th highest in the United States. The lowest point is at Red Bluff Lake, which is 2,817 feet above sea level.

NOTE: I HAVE BEEN TO SANTA FE SEVERAL TIMES, AND HAVE TRAVELED THROUGH THE STATE TO GET TO ARIZONA, AS WELL.
