"flat water for the Platte River," and nicknamed The Cornhusker State.
Nebraska is bordered by Wyoming and Colorado to the west; Kansas to the
south; Iowa and Missouri to
the east and South Dakota to the north.
Nebraska's highest peak is Panorama Point at 5,424 feet, the 20th highest in the United States. The lowest point is at the Missouri River, which is 480 feet above sea level.
